Debra - Practice Manager

Debbie is our boxer lover!  She has 3 of her own, Cowman, Butch, and Blaze; 2 cats, Foster and Taffy; and 1 african grey, Sully.  Debbie has been in the Veterinary Field for over 12 years.  she has been happily married to her husband, Mike, for 26 years.

Emi - Kennel Manager

Emi has worked at Paws since 2007.  Emi loves chihuahuas.   She is a tremendous asset to our team.  She helps us both as kennel manager and veterinary assistant.  She takes care of all of the animals that stay at our doggy hotel. She bathes, walks, feeds and plays with them.  When it is nap time, she works as a veterinary assistant and enjoys learning something new each day.  Emi loves working with Dr. Barnett and her staff. 

Monique - Veterinary Technician and Receptionist

Being a person with a great love for animals, I can't think of a more suited place to work.  My name is Moe, my husband, Tim and I have been married for 17 years. Throughout those years, he has learned to share my compassion for animals, and he has also had to learn to share the couch with our dog Savannah Jane, who is a Newfoundland mix.  Savannah is now 8 hears old, and has the best seat in the house!  I have a beautiful daughter,  she too has a love for animals.  She has a hampster, Noel and we also have 3 cats named Domino, Winslow, and Harley D.  I started working as a receptionist/ Veterinary Assistant in 2003.  I am originally from Maine and I have been blessed enough to stay in this field since moving down here and working at Paws Animal Hospital.  I take a special interest in the older, down on their luck animals.  I have a great deal of empathy for those special pets, and just want them to feel loved in their difficult situations. 

Lori -Veterinary Technician

Lori has been a veterinary technician for 16 years.  Most of that time, she worked at an emergency hospital.  Lori spent also spent 2 years working at a wildlife rehabilitation hospital.  She currently owns 2 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, and 2 lizards. Lori had planned to attend veterinary school after college, but she decided she enjoyed being a veterinary technician. 

Shellea - Veterinary Technician

Shellea has worked in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician and receptionist for over 9 years. She has a wonderful husband and has been married for 19 years.  Shellea and her husband have 3 children and are the proud owners of 4 dogs, Katie, Peaches, Ceazar, Lilly and 3 kitties, Marley, Kiki, and Puss N Boots. Shellea loves working with the animals and our staff at Paws Animal Hospital.

Amanda - Veterinary Assistant and Laboratory Manager

Amanda is our longest working employee.  She is the proud owner of an adorable, old, Golden Retriever named Cosmo; a cute, male tabby named Dale; and a little, black kitten named Mige.  Amanda also owns a retired polo horse named Cinderella who is now a fat, lazy trail horse.  Amanda moved here from New York in 2004, where she helped her mother with animal science courses at the Bronx Zoo.  When Amanda was young, she always loved animals and wanted to become a marine biologist.  Amanda's goals have changed and she is now an aspiring pathologist.

Constance - Receptionist 

I have had pets my entire life!  I have grown up with hamsters, birds, fish, dogs, cats and even an iguana named Dennis.  I can't imagine working anywhere else than an Animal Hospital.  I am currently taking classes to earn my certificate for Veterinary Assisting and I have been working at Paws since 2009.  My husband and I have three dogs, including a 5 year old Great Dane Named Mayer, a 7 year old Rescue Rottweiler Mix named Oscar, and a 2 year old Rescue Chihuahua Mix named Chibi.  We also have a 10 year old kitty named Precious.  We share a 3 year old Red Doberman named Beauford, a 4 year old Tabby named Jade and a Kitty named Figuero with our roommate Betty, who happens to be our groomer here at Paws.  It may seem like too many to some, but we couldn't imagine our lives any other way!

Travis Hillaker

Travis has worked at paws since 2010 and is the Dental Technician at Paws Animal Hospital.

Betty has been grooming for 8 years.  She is capable of grooming all breeds of dogs and cats.  Betty loves grooming and feels that it is her artistic outlet.
